Wedding Gown Cleaning and Preservation
You spent years dreaming of it, months looking for it, and the most important day of your life wearing it. At Elite Cleaners we are dedicated to helping your wedding gown lasts as long as the memories of that special day. While most dry cleaners outsource their customers' gowns, Elite continues to clean and preserve their gowns in
house at our local facility.
Minor alterations and complete fittings are offered to our brides along with beading replacement and lace repair. A dress that belonged to your grandmother that has yellowed from age can be restored and customized to your size and style. From a small smudge during photo shoot to a wine spill from your big day, no job is too small or too big for us.
Each dress and veil is hand cleaned in virgin solvent after every bead and embellishment is checked to ensure its' security.
To preserve your dress after hand cleaning, Leila, the owner, personally wraps the dress in acid free tissue and seals it in an airtight box for long term storage or display. Once preserved your gown is protected from yellowing, fading, mold, mildew,
dust, and sun damage for generations to come.
Our hope is that our brides are able to soak in every bit of joy from their wedding day without the distraction of worrying about stains and tears. With cleaning and preservation from Elite your dress will look just as perfect on your 25th anniversary as it did the

I'm almost embarrassed to say, but by the time I took my dress to Elite it had been 5 years since my big day! By that time, my dress was filthy and began to discolor. " I don't think I can accurately describe how wonderful the experience I had with Elite Cleaners.
About 6 weeks before my wedding, I had to get a new wedding dress! I dropped it off to get it cleaned and would not have guessed the series of events that would take place afterward. When I first bought the dress, I followed the bridal boutique's recommendations to drop it off at Elite Cleaners since that is the cleaners they recommend. I was contacted by the owner and wedding dress cleaner Leila about the cost of cleaning my dress. She also asked if I was going need any alterations on my dress...I needed several! She explained that she wanted to wait before cleaning my dress to get the alterations so that I wouldn't have to get my dress cleaned again. I really appreciated her honesty and consideration. I explained that I lived in Columbia SC and that I need my dress somewhat quickly. Leila went on to explain that they have a seamstress named Marlene that is an expert seamstress that she would recommend her because she is wonderful with formals alterations. Also Leila herself could empathize since she has three daughters and stated that she knows how stressful this time can be. Leila had my dress picked up from the branch where I left it to the one on Carmel Rd so that the cleaning and alterations could be done in one spot and save me from making several stops in a city I don't live in. I was willing to commute for great service and drove the 1.5 hour journey only twice to get my dress altered before it was ready. She completely took care of me! Marlene is a darn good seamstress with 40+ years experience and it shows! I attached some before and after pics at the end of this review, although the after seems to want to post first! Just reverse the order, haha! The price was fair and the customer service was top notch. I don't have a picture to post here but my dress, once it was altered and cleaned, looked amazing! I felt like royalty in it and I am so grateful to Leila. I can't even fully post how helpful she was in helping me get my dress in fear that someone may take advantage of her kindness, she was that over-the-top helpful. I am also grateful to Jo in her contribution in helping me get my dress at a time that worked well for me. Leila said to me that the cleaners once belonged to her father and that he always emphasized how important it is to keep the customer first priority, and she could not have done any better! They personalized caring for me in a way that I never expected and I will be always appreciative. If I ever have any formal attire that needs cleaning or alterations again, I would definitely use Elite Cleaners, even if I still live 80 miles away".
